Seminars for Novice Stamp Collectors Starting Tuesday, January 22, 2013, Kristin Patterson will be starting a 30-minute Introduction to Stamp Collectors Series on a variety of topics. In the small forum, you can get quick answers on a specific topic. On January 22, the topic will be “How to be a Satisfied Stamp Collector.” It will discuss commonly felt frustrations with being overwhelmed, too much to do but no enough time, missing the perfect item, and more.
On Tuesday, March 26, Kristin will present on “How to Get the Most From the Scott’s Specialized Catalogue.” The forum will discuss many overlooked details in the Scott’s U.S. Specialized Catalogue. If you have any past year Scott’s Specialized Cat. bring it with you to the seminar. The meetings will be held from 6:30 to 7:00 pm at the Community Activities Building in the Conference Room. Make sure to be on-time, as latecomers will be welcomed to attend the next meeting. At 7:05 pm Sequoia Stamp Club will open the doors for their meetings which run until 9:30 pm.
