The fourth and final year of PENPEX-PIPEX was chaired by Edward Rosen. The show was held December 9-10, 1978 at the RC Community Activity Building. The show hours were Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
The show had 50 exhibit frames of 12 pages each. The jury which consisted of Cy Thompson, James E. Jefferson, and apprentice Dr. Leopold Dickstein, gave Barbara R. Le Blanc the Grand Award for her “Iceland: Postal Stationery” exhibit.
